Thai Akara - Lanna Boutique Hotel, Chiang Mai

The pool area at Thai Akara was a true oasis of calm. I loved that it wasn't crowded. On several occasions, I enjoyed a relaxing swim in the main pool, and at times, I was the only one there! It felt like my private escape. The lush surroundings really enhanced the serene atmosphere.

I was thoroughly impressed by the breakfast buffet. There was a good variety, and their care for dietary preferences is commendable. I particularly enjoyed trying the Thai desserts, especially the black sticky rice with coconut milk - it was heavenly! Each morning began with a lovely meal that set a positive tone for the day.

My room was incredibly spacious and well-decorated, perfectly blending modern comforts with a touch of traditional Thai style. I loved how the layout was designed, featuring a large and well-maintained bathroom complete with dual sinks and a bath. I truly felt at home during my stay.

The bed in my room was wonderfully comfy, allowing for restful nights after busy days of exploration. The bedding was soft, and I appreciated the amenities provided, including cozy robes and slippers. It was a perfect haven for relaxation at the end of each day.
